The contemporary media world around us devours information and much of it, discarded and lost onto a conveyor belt of uncataloged events and occurrences.

I make works which capture and document specific historical events as often undefined by the media, through composition and arrangement, to present an alternative angle of an editorial agenda.

Often the works contain allusions to irony, contradiction and absurdity, and carry a carefully scripted sense of cinematic departure for unfolding occurrences.

A Series of Black Paintings are a series based on the harmonies and simplicities between man and nature.

Ultra modernism is beyond modernism, and extends past the remit of which 20th century modernism aimed to break from.

It contends and competes for space within the present day and bolts against the sophisticated and subversive power of the media, through power of it's slickness of composition, material and form.
